George Blevins has been playing in worship settings in Atlanta for 30 years. He is a professional musician with his degree obtained from Kennesaw State University. For the last 18 years he has been a member of the Atlanta Passion Play orchestra which was televised and recorded. In addition, his performance experience includes wind ensembles, jazz ensembles, and brass quintets.
Presently, he is the principle trombonist for the orchestra and jazz ensemble at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, but also is an active member of the Tara Winds Ensemble located in Atlant, GA. Mr. Blevins is an experienced architect, a Georgia real estate broker. His most notable contributions in architecture were his involvement in the creation of the CNN Center and the Promenade and Concourse projects within Atlanta, GA.
